Well, you've already got an experience of almost a year and a half and that's very true that companies prefer experienced prospect for accountant like position of high responsibility. I'll suggest you to go for Executive MBA first from a recognized B-School and then you'll be having probability of being placed through campus placement, and your experience as a research assistant will be helpful hopefully.Executive MBA is a one year PG course run by many good B-Schools like that of IIM.
