Seems that you are interested in Animation/ Multimedia. It would be good to have good sketching skills for a start. After 12th you can head for NID if you are able to get through their exams. Alternatively you may head for an institute you like. Do visit a few institutes you are interested in. Don't just go by the distance of the institute from your location. Journalism does not need an educational background, it only requires two things that is awareness and strength; awareness about what all is going around and whether it is right or wrong and the strength to portray / convey everything to the masses and how it will affect them. Journalism as a career is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work and patience.To become a good journalist you need to have a good command over Hindi, English or your regional language. Apart from good communication, you also have to be a good listener and an interpreter. So after completing your 10+2 you can join a good college to pursue Journalism. The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your career stream is your own interests and career aspirations. If you dont want to get into the commerce field then you either can try for some vocational field like designing, photography, Travel & tourism, software & hardware related courses or you can opt for degree programmes like MBA, M.Com, etc. If you have interest in accounting or banking related course then there are several other options which you can opt for such as CA, CFA, PG Diploma in Banking through Institutes like IIBF, NIIT IFBI etc.
