Both of these technical colleges have good faculties, good student atmosphere. It depends on how you look at it. These technical institutes aim at making you a good engineer. It depends on how much you are willing to co-operate with them and how much faith and trust you are going to show them towards achievement of your goal. Basically, in terms of college infrastructure and facilities, I guess Heritage Institute of Technology is far ahead of many other popular colleges in Kolkata. In terms of placement, I feel IEM is a little ahead of what we have in IEM college.

One can get jobs at AirIndia, SpiceJet, Lufthansa, Jet Airways, AirAsia, IndiGo, National Aviation Company of India and many more.

CU's hard work and believe in professionalism has paid huge dividends for its students as Chandigarh University becomes the youngest university to be ranked by NIRF, Government of India. CU has been ranked 22nd in the fully-fledged universities category for its engineering division and 13th in the fully-fledged universities category for its management division. CU is recognised by UGC, AICTE, NCHMCT, AIU, BCI, PCI COI, etc. for its courses. Further, CU has international membership of IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, IUCEE and ACS. Therefore, in my opinion it is worthy to study in CU keeping the placement and curriculum in consideration.

Hi Saim, first you have to decide what you are going to study and where you want to settle. What is best for you is something you have to decide.
