salary is depend on the student's academic perfomance,skill, quality. my one friend did softwer testing course after his graduation. now after 7 year of experience he is earning 80000 per month and he is the deader of MCA and IT gradutes in his organization. he is on this stage because of his hard work, skill and better perfomance. so bealieve in improve capability to get good salary. in sort salary is depend on perfomance along with degree. good luck dear

It totally depends upon ur area of interest. Never Chose any line which others are doing. Always do which u like and which suits on u. Being a mathematics background u have variety of lines. If u like to make ur career in technical line then u can opt BCA and simultaneously u can do some International Certification depending upon the Industry demands.
