Few good colleges like IIMC, XIC, MICA etc. conduct their own entrance exam. The basic requirement for admission is good English both written and verbal, minimum qualification required is graduation from a recognized university. The entrance would consist of few objective type questions on GK, reading comprehension, grammar, etc. Most of the paper would consist of questions based on Media such as few news channels and their punch lines, so if possible just mug up the punch lines of few News channels and few big brands and also if possible go through their Brand ambassadors as well. At the end i would say that the entrance is not that difficult and you can clear it easily and the interview depends on your caliber.

As you have already joined Mass Comm and about to complete one year, I would like to say that yes you can join Mass Comm but still advice to think over your decision again as switching to a new field will not be feasible as it will result in the loss of an year.
But keeping in mind your sheer interest towards Mass Comm, I would like to give the information.
Mass Comm is a very demanding and challenging course and has a lot to offer like Journalism, advertising, PR etc.Few good colleges like IIMC, XIC, MICA etc. conduct their own entrance exams for admissions to similar courses. The basic requirement for admission is good English both written and verbal, minimum qualification required is +2 from a recognized board. The entrance would consist of few objective type questions on GK, reading comprehension, grammar, etc. If you want, you can also pursue Mass Comm through correspondence simultaneously along with your BCA if you think you can cope up with both or the other option can be that pursue PG in mass comm once you are done with your BCA.
