I am a NZ Citizen. Born here.
I am not in engineering but generally NZ doesn't take much importance for higher degrees. Most people have just Bachelors and depending on the company they can be a Team Leader if they are 24yrs old.
My view is that if you have a Bachelor already and you cannot get a job, the Masters isn't going to help you. Also you may be seen as too qualified with too little actual work experience. Masters is good to progress your career after you have work experience.
If you enjoy study etc . and want to be in a technical job. The Masters would provide you a more solid platform to stay there and maybe later in

According to your eligibility,you can enroll for a basic diploma course(a distance mode).That is sufficient for you to enter in this field.But some of the institutes are really charging very high fees amount which is not worth at all,so just be aware of that.
