Hi Vikas,
See, Diploma in journalism, first of all, in AMU is on-campus that means no distance learning is offered.
Secondly, if you want to make a career in journalism and print media then a post-graduate degree in journalism is required.
Talking about the qualities, one should have a curious mind, will power, an aptitude for presenting information in a precise, concise and effective manner. It's well and good that you have decided your goals, just set out the path and travel on those and there are many people who will guide you to help you reach your goals.
Best of luck.

Hi,
It's better to go for B.Com and CS. Both are in line with commerce background. Moreover, with the open options of pursuing Masters after completing your B.Com either M.Com or MBA, it is better to go for the latter combination. BCA plus MBA is also good but not as remunerative as the latter combo.
All the best.

Last year the cut-off for OBC category student was 90% but you can try this college for the third CAP round. There are fair chances that you will get shortlisted but again I would suggest you give ATMA and MAT April May attempt to broaden your options.

Since only 30% of the seats is filled by stream 2, the competition for it is heavier. ICT has a strength of about 60 people per batch, so that would make you compete for the 20 seats. Getting above 97% will keep you in a safer side.

There is no minimum percentile as such as Welingkar considers an overall score of your GDPI, your past academics, your extracurricular and also your percentile. So converting the call totally depends on how well your GDPI goes.

Start researching which universities offer a course of your interest. Work on your overall profile, a Statement of purpose, other essays, letter of recommendation. Get all your documents in place - like high school reports and college transcripts. Read about the application requirements at the different universities and work towards achieving your goal.
All the best.
