No, it is not essential that you have to do M.E or any other post graduation course to get a good job. But higher education always brightens up the chances and makes your horizon wider. In short you are able to apply to more number of vaccancies. As such B.E in Civil engineering should give you a good job. You need to learn the tricks of the trade and the essential technicalities of your stream in your initial jobs to get a "Good" job finally. In civil engineering generally the expertise give you a good job so you may have to do some jobs here & there in the initial phase of your career.
