The salary you get after doing an MBA depends to a large extent on the B-school in which you are enrolled. While IIM grads average between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 8 lakh - for domestic, and considerably higher for foreign placements, those in the lesser B-schools must contend with much less. And there are nearly 1,000 of them! The hefty figures like the $ 1,520000-package bagged by an IIMA student and the Rs 65 lakh per annum-package offered to an IIML student are certainly not the rule.
There is no hard-and-fast rule about how much you make subsequently - 8 to 9 years. That will depend entirely on the industry you are in, your track-record and the company you work in. AIMS is fine.But try to get more options anshita

Usually admissions to most of the engineering colleges are through entrance examinations. The eligibility for the same is mentioned below
For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for the course is 4 years.
