As per your rank, there is a good chance for you getting a seat in CSE branch of this college. Just keep an eye on the counseling process as it may take till last round.
Talking about the placements, well, it is just average. To provide you with an idea, around 30 students were placed( on-campus) out of 120 with an average package of about 5 lacs( from CSE).
For more information about this college, you can comment your question in this thread. Good Luck!

Hi Tinku!
It depends on the period of the time gap. Some colleges have age criteria for graduation. You will have to check that before applying to a college.

Placements of EEE at NIT Nagpur are very good. In fact, if you are very good at coding, you can sit for placements along with CSE people for the companies that come to hire them. However, the curriculum is very strenuous and for a good pointer, you'll have to study really hard. But all that will be worth in the long run.
All the best!

Hello Karthik, Aah! You are in a typical Shakespearean dilemma! Calicut as well as Nagpur, both NIT' s have quite good reputation. Therefore I would like to advise you that you can take admission in the NIT which is convenient to access and commute from your home.

Hello,
I am sorry to say but you should have registered well before time in different colleges to avoid this situation. If not DU, I assume you have applied in the following Delhi colleges:
1. Jamia Milia Islamia
2. Ambedkar University
3. IPU
Noida colleges:
1. Amity University
2. Galgotias University
If you haven't applied in any of the above, there is no chance you can do English Honors because the deadline of all the colleges is over now. Registrations have already begun. Try searching for any other in states other than Delhi, if you can.
All the best!

Well, I am not from the CSE department but I think I'll be able to answer this question. First of all, IIT Hyderabad, Indore and Ropar are the top IITs established in 2008. Also, as per the NIRF rankings of 2016 and 2017, IIT Ropar has been ranked as the 3rd best IIT of 2008. Also, these 2008 IITs ave almost completed a decade and it will be unfair to call them a new IIT. They have established themselves in the past 9 years and are still growing at a very fast rate. Almost all of them (including IIT Ropar) have started shifting to their permanent campus. As far as the facilities are concerned, IIT Ropar is sufficiently equipped with al
