Hi Prabas
DBA is for Database Administrators.
You can get the job on the basis of the same.
Better choose from Oracle and IBM DB2.
MySql is discouraged as Sun Microsystems is already merged into Oracle and hence MySql support and its future are gloomy.
Best of luck !
Do ask back for further queries.https://shiksha.com is pleased 2 help u.

Hi Pruthviraj
Welcome to https://shiksha.com
See a lot depends on your own skill set to get good placements.
Though the institute you are studying in is not much good in terms of placements.
I would recommend you to go for learning any of the following courses that will help adding value to your profile and let you achieve better placements earlier than your colleagues:
1. Java/J2EE - The server side software development of web is mostly done by this most secure language option. Most of the banks in India and abroad implement their web applications using Java/J2EE only.
2. Oracle/Mysql/DB2/DBA - This is one of the most reliable course optio

You can apply to IIFM when you are in your final year. You can either take the IMAT (IIFM Management Aptitude Test) or you can provide the institute score of CAT/CET/MAT. IIFM will also condict a GD/PI for you based on which your selection will be done. Refer admission guidelines on the website www.iifmonline.com

Hi,
Enhancing your education & professional skills is always a good option. However, keep one thing in mind that the employer will be more concerned with your Knowledge & what skills you have achieved from a degree and not your percentage. Your success is dependent on the percentage and institutes name only to an extent, rest is your talent. For Oracle DBA training institutes please check the link below:

Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries. In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.
