I being currently working at Tech Mahindra, would recommend you to join the same as the network engineer considering the decent working environment and its rank being 1st among the telecom software industries in India.
But also if you are interested in programming language related courses then you can do the same in parallel to your job.
Also there are networking courses like CCNA/CCNP and MCSE which can add value to your profile.
