Although Ankit has given one of the most valid reason that helps to support you in terms of getting a good job and lucrative earning option but then it is primarily the student and his/ her capabilities and over all performance which are the deciding factors. All I would say that getting a good institute, a one which is recognized and has been offering quality education is a decent option for MBA although, reputed and premier management institutes will definitely be the best career option.
As for the details given by you, I think Finance / Markets will open up to be the best and a bright field of scope to pursue a career by you

B.Tech in CS and BE in CS is Same there is no difference Between them. there is no Comparison between BCA and B.Tech / BE. BCA is Just a three year Computer Application Course . Where is B.Tech / BE is the 4 years Engineering course. after BCA again you have to do MCA then only you can able to Compete with B.Tech / BE Students . as B.Tech / BE is Equivalent to MCA.

The areas covered in IGNOU's OPENMAT Entrance Examination are: General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. For quantative apptitutde and reasoning consult your NCERT books from 9th till 12th level, for English Language and General Awareness read more and more novels read news papers on daily basis. Try and enhance your vocabulary.
Apart from this you can consult the books which the CAT students consult such as R.S. Aggrwal, Arun Sharma & Meenakshi Upadhyay as OPENMAT is on similar lines although the syllabus is not as vast as CAT.
