Most of the universities in USA, generally has 2(two) admission intake.
1. Fall Intake i.e.(August/September)
2. Spring Intake i.e. (January/February)
It is always advisable to start your application process a year in advance.
Every university has its own course specific application deadline, but in general for Fall intake , the applications should reach the university admission office by December/January, and for Spring intake the application should reach the university admission office by August/September.

Although, B.tech in EC itself would help you to get best career opportunities but if you still want to enhance your resume you can look at courses like: Data Communication Networking, Wireless Communication, VLSI Design, TCP/IP, Embedded systems etc. The institute which you can consider for such courses is CDAC.

Although, there are Institutes which give part time Engineering programs like IGNOU, Annamalai University, Acharya Nagarjuna, Anna University, DTU, KSOU, MG University etc, but no part time programs can stand equivalent to a full time Engineering program reason being, firstly, the competitiveness of the full time program, Entering a full time Engineering is much more tougher than a part time program, Secondly, the kind of practical exposure required in engineering program is only possible through a full time program. So, definitely full time Engineering students will have an upper hand on part time Engineering graduate & advisable is that you should go for a full time program. It would be even better if you go for M.Sc.

Hi Sanjay,
No, it is not possible to pursue two full time courses from the same University as in most the Universities it is not allowed. However, If you are too keen to pursue two courses together you can probably do one through correspondence and one through Regular but for that as well you need to check whether Mumbai University allow another degree along with its own degree programme.
Advisable would be that you should pursue a single degree, as two degrees are quite exhaustive and at times it becomes difficult even to complete one so better would be that you should opt for Single degree.
