no this is just a myth. today so many civil projects are coming up to develop buildings and infrastructure all over India that there is a shortage of skilled architects and civil engineers. Hence I recommend you to stick to your decision and become architect.

you seem to be confused about career choice. I suggest you to keep cool and be patient. There is no need to panic. Since you are already doing Bsc computer science complete it first sincerely with good marks though you do not like the subject. Secondly try to learn french language but focus more on Bsc. Once you are done with your graduation then you have to decide what to do next : computers, french, designing. There is no course available which merges all the three. But do not try to row 2 boats at a time. Please do only one thing at a time and do not try to rush through. If you are still not confident then visit a career counsellor.

Hi Ishita,
If you want to merge computers, french and design, well the best could be to go and study design in France. One of the leading colleges of France is Gobelins. There are others of course including George Meiles and SIC. Alternatively you could study in Canada which also has a high french speaking population. However, if instead of this strange request you decide what you love (obviously you'd drop computers since it's just a medium and my answer would be same if you said french and design) more out of french and design then the choice would become clearer. Now that you are at the final phase of your engineering, I would suggest you not to leave your engineering hald way done, finish your degree.
