First of all you need to decide whether you want to go for B.Sc or a B>tech program in Biotechnology which would depend on your interests and career aspiration. If you want to pursue Research based career go for B.Sc otherwise go for B.Tech. Once you have decided on that rest of the path would be easier. If you go for B.Tech start preparing for Engineering Entrance Examinations after clearing entrances you would get a college in your area according to the rank you have got. On the other hand if you go for B.Sc it would be dependent on your 12th performance and nothing else, so, you should completely concentrate on your performance in 12th if you want to pursue B.Sc.
After Graduation you can either straightaway plan for job or can go for further studies. If you plan for further studies, apart from your usual Masters degree another option which would open for you would be MBA. If you go for job, although you would get a job but the salary package and designation would be not that high in comparison with the students who have Masters Degree.
