Hii Abhinav, there are two types of category for Admission in BIMTECH
Merit Category :
Regular Admission is granted to those applicants who have fulfilled all the admission requirements and whose name appears in the regular merit list of successful applicants.
Corporate sponsored:
Upto 10% Seats are allotted on following conditions:
1. Candidates are directly called for GD/PI. They may also appear without participating in the CAT/XAT/MAT exam.
2. It is a separate merit, based on GD and Interview, and Graduation score.
3. A fee as per schedule will be deposited annually in advance.
4. In the case of corporate sponsored candidate, the sponsoring company must have an annual turnover of minimum Rs. 50 crore.

Germany is a country known for its Technical advancements, so an MS in Mechanical from Germany will surely be a nice step!
There are usually two intakes Sep/Oct and MArch/April. The application and admission process takes about 9 months so you need to plan accordingly. The deadline for Sep/Oct intake is in Jan and for March /April intake is in July.
Hence, you will need to make an early application.
Also, education in Germany is govt. sponsored, there is a possibility that you might have to give a minimal fee ranging between 140-500 euros.
