Once students cross the milestone of getting into the DU-affiliated colleges for their BCA course, it is important to get an insight on what all you are actually going to study in the curriculum. In the first semester, students will be acquainted with basics of programming languages, technical communication and English comprehension. In the second semester, all about Data Structure, Database Management, Digital Electronics and Mathematics is going to be a part of their curriculum.
The third semester of the BCA program of Delhi University will provide the detailed information about Object Oriented Programming in C+ and .NET. In addition, students will be acquainted with computer architecture basics. The fourth semester will give students further knowledge about JAVA Programming, Software Engineering, Computer Networks and Web Technologies.
During the final year, students will get to learn about basics of Operating System, Computer Graphics, E-Commerce, Software Testing, Microprocessor, Web-Based Programming and Business Economics. The sixth semester is going to be important as it will consist of Mobile Computing, Linux, Multimedia Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Network Security and Network Programming.
Delhi University BCA admission Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a minimum of 60 percent marks in 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject to be eligible for Delhi University BCA Admission. In addition, the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination from a recognised board of education in India. However, the three-year course has no age limit as an eligibility criterion, which is a good thing. Filling the application form without having the requisite minimum marks can result in rejection of the form. Even if you fill in the wrong or incomplete details, it can result in rejection of the submitted form.
