Yes, a first class is recommended especially if you are targeting top universities. However, admissions will be based on your overall profile. If you apply to countries like the USA they will check your GRE score and profile as well and here even if you have 59% you may stand a chance if your GRE and application profile is very good. With your grades, you can also check institutes in Australia or countries like Norway, France, Netherlands, UAE, Spain, etc.

You cannot become a cricket presenter/commentator after completing engineering. You can probably go for a Master's degree in journalism and mass communication after you are done with engineering. Further, you can get into news anchoring (sports beat).

Dear Harsh, the actual cut-offs for DTU and NSIT are about 10% more than the officially published spot round cutoffs. You can find the official spot round cut offs online.
Moreover, the cutoffs decrease substantially after the last day for the refund of fees. Almost everyone holds a seat in both the colleges i.e. DTU and NSIT and all of them apply for the refund on the very last day. I would suggest you to wait even after the last date for the refund, you might waste some money but in the end its worth it.

For scholarship, your age should be less than 25 years for state government minority scholarship and for others, you would be purely selected on merit.
Gap can create some problems, but you can neutralize it by showing some volunteer work experience and some good certificate courses.

A migration certificate is needed only if you wish to pursue your MBA at a university different from the one from which you completed your graduation (graduation in Pune and post-graduation? MBA in Nagpur). Apply for it if that's the case with you. Whereas, a gap certificate is needed when you had to take/took a gap after your graduation to prepare for your MBA entrance exam (graduated in 2015 but taking admission this year requires a gap certificate).
I hope it answers your query.

Hello Ramya,
The point you stated above is partly fact and partly myth. The top B-schools for MBA have got an esteemed reputation. They have better contacts with the HR department of various companies. Therefore, the probability of getting placed in a reputed company with a decent package certainly increases. In this context, the point above is a fact.
However, on the other hand, these colleges are extremely choosy in selecting the students for the course. Students who are extremely top graded, mostly get a chance to get through to these colleges. They rigorously train students and along with equivalent effort from the student as well, t
