To become IT software engineer, B.Tech information technology is more preferred. B.Tech. Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of computer Science and electronics engineering required to develop computer hardware and software. Computer engineers usually have training in electronic engineering (or electrical engineering), software design, and hardware software integration instead of only software engineering or electronic engineering. Computer engineers are involved in many hardware and software aspects of computing, from the design of individual micro controllers, microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer systems themselves work, but also how they integrate into the larger picture.

Please check the cutoff announced for MHCET after the results are out also check what are the participating Universities and what cutoff have they put for intake of the students so only on that basis will you be able to know where will you get admission in one of the participating colleges or not. Symbiosis is concerned I am sure you must have got a call from SLS Pune regarding the personal interview and written aptitude test. If you do well in the person interview and return aptitude test you should be in one of the merit list announced by the college on its website so please keep checking about the merit list. Even if you don't get it in the first merit list you can wait for the second or the third merit list in total there are 4 merit lists.
