As you scored 53% and you belong to SC background you can get admission in any of the colleges. But it is difficult for getting admission into NITs and IITs. as per new rule , the new eligibility criteria for getting admission in NIT is having minimum 75% in board 12th exam and the merit of this year is expected above 150 marks in JEE; for General students.For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. So its quite difficult to get admission in NIT. But there are many other colleges with similar rankings where you can get admission very easily. No, there is no entrance test conducted by Jaipur National University for B.Sc. Shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview based on marks obtained in 10+2 level. Candidates are selected based on performance in personal interview. Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with the required information.
