As JIIT is declared as a Deemed University by UGC and as these Educational Councils be it UGC or AICTE are there for promotion of professional institutions and providing grants to various institutions. They look after the integrated development of education and maintain educational standards. So, what is important is that the Institute should be recognized by one of these organizations not all & as JIIT is recognized by UGC it doesnt require AICTE recognition.
