The moment a student joins GEMS B SCHOOL, immediately the placement process will start and the student will be placed in a Job related to the specialisation in the MBA. The student will work for five days a week in an industry, and study for two days in the GEMS B SCHOOL campus. This is because management is a skill which cannot be learnt by merely hearing, reading and observing, it is learnt by DOING. GEMS B SCHOOL will place the student in a suitable job related to the student's specialisation like HR, Marketing, Retail, Finance, Banking, Construction, etc. The student will be paid a full-time salary and not a stipend for this job. The salary will depend on the student's caliber and the prevailing market situation

Shivam, The major differences between these two degrees are-
• B.Sc (Hons) is much more superior to the B.Sc (general) degree.
• Academically, B.Sc (Hons) is a more standard degree as compared to B.Sc (general).
• For the completion of B.Sc (Hons) degree, a student will have to write a dissertation but for a B.Sc (general) degree, this is not mandatory.
The B.Sc (Hons) is a three years degree program which aims at developing advanced theoretical and research skills and provide a platform for an advanced professional or academic career. This is a most desired route for students who want to continue to Master of Science (M.Sc) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a research or academic career.
There are many good universities that are offering B.Sc/ B.Sc (H) as well as Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc courses to chose from. Most of these universities have good placements. Some even offer scholarships too.

There are basically 4 sections in Bank exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants and GK.
Verbal Ability:
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. It will also help you to get in touch with basic vocab. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do a proper analysis of articles on the editorial page. Try to make a summary of articles that you read para by para. You can switch to the book called WORD POWER MADE EASY by NORMAN LEWIS.
DILR
The best thing to score in LR-DI is to practice more questions on a daily basis so you understand which sets you should leave and before attempting the sets what are the things you should look for. I would suggest 'Puzzles by George J Summers'.
Quants
This section is one of the most scoring section for student and you too should try to get maximum marks in this section. It has a proper syllabus and you need to practice each and every chapter. The major topics are- Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra, Number System and Modern Math. It is basically the math that you have studied till the tenth standard. However, having said that, the questions are not really easy. Focus more on Arithmetic and Algebra as these two are the most important topics.
GK
Read newspaper daily for current affairs and go for Lucent for GK.

Suprem, The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India is a statutory body set up by the Indian Union government in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 under Ministry of Human Resource Development, and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disburses funds to such recognised universities and colleges.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. Established in November 1945 first as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament, AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India. The AICTE accredits postgraduate and graduate programs under specific categories at Indian institutions as per its charter.
Autonomous Institution is affiliated to a Govt. University but does not follow its syllabus or curriculum. It has academic independence which gives it the freedom to revise the syllabus with time and follow a schedule which is more suitable for the set curriculum. Exams are conducted by the institute itself and are in accordance with what is being taught during the session. Relative grading system where the highest marks obtained by a student decides the marks the others get. So in case of a difficult paper, a low percentage score would not necessarily mean a low GPA. Degrees finally awarded by the affiliated University which generally carries a lot of reputation.
Now the important thing is that if the autonomous institution is a university having UGC approval that it goes not need AICTE approval. The Supreme Court has ruled in the famous Bharathidasan University versus AICTE case that it is not obligatory for a university, created under an Act of a competent legislature, to seek and secure prior approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to start a department for imparting a course or programme in technical education or a technical institution as an adjunct to the university itself to conduct technical courses of its choice and selection.What it means is that the AICTE Act,1987 is applicable only to 'technical institutions' and universities are not ' technical institutions', excluding them from the purview of the AICTE Act.
