Scholarships depends on your application which would include your essays, letters of recommendation, your percentage as well as your score in the international standarized tests(IELTS and GRE if applicable).

Hi,
Even though IELTS is accepted by the university, you should take the TOEFL as TOEFL is the preferred medium of the English test in US. However, if you are still keen on taking the IELTS only, target a score no less than 7.0 band score with a minimum score of 6 in each section.
