There are two stages of Examination in civil services which you need to clear to get into civil services: Preliminary & Main. For preparation you can either join coaching or do self study, the only thing you need to do is hard work as there is no short cut to hard work. You need to keep yourself updated on current affairs (read News papers, watch news channels) & work on your language skills (read novels). You should also work on your own core subjects as you need to opt for an optional subject which can be from your own stream. Last but not least you should gain the other Subject knowledge as well which will help you in your General studies Examination. There are several books available for IAS preparation in the market which you can buy; there is no one particular book which you can consult. If we particularly talk about GK the sources are Newspaper, GK Magazines, such as Competition Success Review.

# However, a course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by DGCA can impart training in this subject.
A student from the science stream with a minimum of 50% (some institutes need 60%) in class 12th is eligible for a 3 year certificate course on aircraft maintenance engineering conducted by training schools approved by the DGCA.
