There are many text references available in the market where in you can refer for the required text like the NIIT course books,ASP.NET: A Beginner's Guide by David Mercer , ASP.NET for Dummies, ASP.NET Unleashed by Stephen Walther and many more.
You may decide for the preferred books on the basis of your curriculum covered, illustrations and the level of language followed.

As mentioned you have a strong background of research field.I would suggest you to go forward in the same field.As far as Clinical Research is concerned.You can always join a diploma course to get the basic of the field.And you can anytime enter into the field with your eligible education background.There are organizations which demands candidates of your background.So in this way you will have a wide opportunity for both fields.And as the fields are related so it will not be difficult fpr you to perform as well.

Well to be honest, there are very few institutes that offer Journalism in UG level. If you want you can opt for courses like Eng. Hons, Hindi hons. and then in your PG you can pursue Journalism.

Yes you can but they are of no use as you cannot shoe the same at the time of any job interview because it is illegal two have two courses in the same session and after that you have to be canceled one of them.Yes there are some short term courses like certificate courses that you can do with any other regular distance course but if a courses if full time course like 2 year or three year then it is not possible.
