see if your AIR rank is 40000(say) then you can expect your state rank to be near 4000-13000 depending on other factors.generally the state cut off rank is 6500-7000 so u can expect to get seat in nit's if your rank is below 40000 and there is an NIT in ur state.

@Ritika @Neeraj: as for what I would know Delhi University does not offers a BCA however it does provides a MCA program.please confirm whether the University offers BCA or not.

Although, there is no neutral ranking on the basis of which we can name the best School but, few of the good Schools in Surat are DPS, Ryan International, Lancers Army School,S D Jain Modern School, Nand Vidya Niketan.

Well to join your father's business, you can either get in right after your BBA and explore the possible sections and decide on your area of prospects else, you can look for the MBA program from a good and well reputed institute and then move forward to take over the family business.
As you mentioned that the business is of Print and book trading, you can look for courses related to print and publishing, but there are rarely any institute offering the same and also such courses will help you to understand the technique of the production but not the business as a complete module.
