You have not mentioned about the Diploma which you hold and the state from which you wish to pursue the lateral course. However, if you have three-year of engineering Diploma from a recognised institution than there are several colleges offer B.Tech lateral admission through the entrance exam.

The minimum percentage for applying in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata for B.Com honours is 60% in the top 4 subjects including English and maths as your compulsory subject. The cutoff is different for different board. For instance, last year for CBSE it was 95% and for WB board it was 89%.
