IIT is a highly reputed and no. 1 institution in India which is recognized worldwide.
The admission into IITs is based on two exams JEE main and JEE Advanced.
You need to improve a lot in concept clarity and I'm sure your board syllabus will not be equal to JEE standards. You need to solve a lot of problems and really work hard for these two years. Only maths and physics will not help you. You need to know chemistry also as it is an easy scoring subject.
JEE main will be a little easy provided you should know some concepts and many formulae to solve the problems. In case of JEE Advanced, you need to know all the concepts with clarity. And, also you need to know the methods of solving problems while having all the formulae of physics, chemistry and maths in fingertips.
It is also a highly competitive exam in which almost 10-12 lakhs appear every year.
I would suggest you to join a good IIT coaching center, as they will guide you in a proper and effective manner. And, it is not that if you join a coaching center you can clear IIT. You also need to work hard a lot.
