I'll prefer RRIMT over SRIMT as the faculty over there is more qualified and the environment is much based on practical knowledge. Books study and also placements over there are also better in SRIMT.

D.J Sanghvi does not have its own hostel but SVKM has various hostels under them. As per my information, the rates are quite high whereas the facilities are immensely good.

If you want to get into a government college, you need to get a rank below 300. As you belong to SC category, you need to get below 7000 rank to get admission in government colleges for aeronautical engineering. With your rank, you can go for some private college which offer admission with around these rank or else you will have to go for management quota.

Hi,
Congratulation for such an amazing score. NIT, Rourkela has been ranked at 12th position by NIRF rating.
For admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs, candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class XII.
As you got good rank, and your 12th mark is just 1% less, if your luck favors you can surely get admission.

Candidates can find below the JAM eligibility criteria which are common for each programmes across institutes for appearing in the postgraduate Science admission test.
1. The candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate of subjects including languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined. Those however belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories need to secure at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects.
