It is recommended that you join an engineering coaching institute as it increases the probability of qualifying the entrance examination. These institutions provide a proper guidance to the student. They also take periodic tests for the student to assess his strong and weak zones and the student can focus more on his weak zones.
Though it isn't mandatory to join those institutes and there are many students who have qualified even without joining any engineering coaching institute, I firmly believe that joining those institutes is recommended. Without the support of those institutes, it will be tougher for a student to qualify in JEE Mains.

Let me help you with the scope of both so that you can decide it better for yourself. M.Pharm in pharmaceutics is most valuable in India and in the US. Pharmaceutics is a unique subject and deals with all F&D, production etc. You have chances in pharmacology and can enter in pre-clinical and clinical studies. The herbal drug industry is booming in India and other parts. so pharmacology is a bigger aspect now. The demand for herbal drugs is elevated due to fewer side effects. Himalaya, Zandu, Dabur and so many are standing in the squad and looking for such people. Recent market shows that M.Pharm with chemistry are less absorbed in industry than B.Sc in chemistry. It is because in pharma chemistry we are more concentrating on SAR of the drug molecules.
Now for MBA- If you are very good in management and personally have leadership quality just get into MBA. Pharma MBA is most demanded in the market. You are from pharmacy background, therefore you can get more beneficial than others. In the recent economic recession, only pharma-industries will remain unaffected or less effected than any other industries in the world. So being in this field will be more beneficial. Other than this , HR studies is also valuable in any companies or industries. MBA in HR is good but in an interview, you will be asked that why did you do pharmacy? You can do the same with any other degree say B.Com or BA. So, you have to be mentally prepared for such arguments. Choose the one you understand better.
