The choice of the engineering branch depends solely on your own interest. Opt for the field you're interested in rather than market trends.
Below mentioned are the reasons:
1. Market conditions vary every 6 months to 1 year. Engineering is a 4 year course. There is a high chance that the field which looks the most promising at the time of taking admission might not be good when you complete engineering.

Yes, to get admission for MBBS and BDS courses, you need to appear for NEET exam. The board percentages will not be taken into account, unlike engineering.

As you are a art student, you are not eligible for engineering courses B.E/B.Tech but if you have interest in computer then you can do various courses related to computer Science like B.Sc, BCA, etc.

Both courses have good scope if you have good knowledge.
But if you consider financial earning then BDS is better. Also, it is possible to get more chance of earning in BDS as compared to BPT.
