If you want to shift your career from Marketing to Finance the best option would be a Postgraduate degree in Finance that is MBA. CFA would also be a good choice but it would take longer duration to get return on investment through CFA certification as for CFA you not only require certain amount of specific work experience but also will take longer duration to clear this certification. It is not about how much it appeals us or you, the important thing which you should keep in mind is that what is the value of the programme (which you are opting) in the job market and how comfortable you are with such kind of classes would you be able to grasp and perform in the same manner as you would be able to do in regular face to face classes, so before you decide upon choosing such a programme you should ponder on all the pros and cons of the course and then plan.
