It's better but first qualify GATE so that it would be better you to join in any government sector. Nowadays many government sectors are making GATE as the qualification for them. M.Tech is not that useful. Go with government jobs preparation.

If you want to opt for B.Tech then do study till class 12th. It will prepare you for the coming years of your B.Tech. See if you want to end your school in class 10th and start pursuing higher studies, that is fine but it is your choice. Since you are saying you want to do B.Tech then I would suggest you complete your 12th and then directly do B.Tech. You can opt for Diploma after 10th and then do B.Tech through lateral entry.

I would not say excellent. But, it is a decent college that provides suitable courses and a lot of specializations in various fields. The packages offered are same as any other engineering college. Teachers are helpful, a decent library and large food court forms a good combination. In terms of study and packages offered compared to fee charged by UPES, it is an average college as these features can be found at a lower price in other colleges too.

While both Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) and other colleges in Kanpur offer MBA programs, IIT Kanpur (Department of Management Sciences) and Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) are generally ranked higher for MBA in Kanpur. If considering CSJMU, its affiliated colleges like Axis College and Allenhouse Institute of Management are also options, often with lower fees

Hi Devyani,
Congratulations on being shortlisted at above mentioned colleges. Choice of college totally depends on area of specialisation so if you want to opt for healthcare then Welingkar is a better option for you but if not that then IES MCRC would be the best option to explore each specialisation in 1st year and later studying in depth about you area of interest.
