The procedure for general category students is as follows:
-Shortlisting DU colleges (as per your choice of course)as per your expected/current class XII percentage on the basis of last year's cut off list.
-Applying to various colleges through centralized forms available at DU or buying prospectus of colleges of your choice and applying separately to colleges.
-Once the cut of list is released for various colleges and if your percentage falls within the cut off bracket of your shortlisted course/colleges, you can apply to those colleges.in case, a student does not make it to DU in the first cut off list he or she can wait for the sec

After cut off you have to come in the institute with your mark-sheets and certificates and photocopies of all and fee of first year (you may submit fee after one or two days of admission but within time interval given by institute). If you are a reservation category student than get related certificates also.
