Well as you are doing B.tech, then you can look for the subjects that you have studied like Physics, Maths or you can also take any other subject with no such eligibility restriction.
Also under the UPSC, with B.tech you can go ahead with the Indian Engineering Services where in your engg. degree is important as a background.

BMM i.e. Bachelor in Mass Media is a well known option among the students who have interest in pursuing a career in Media field and after pursuing this course you can be absorbed by several publishing houses, news channels etc depending on your domain expertise and talent for various assignments but then one will always require to pursue further education in order to gain better growth prospects.
Also one cannot compare Video editing, Photography or BMM course as all the three mentioned are entirely different from one another and provide options in different streams all together.
