Hello Fathima If you look at the pattern, Science students have majority in clearing UPSC exams. This is mainly because they become habitual of studying with patience and undertaking huge syllabi pressure. However, students taking up humanities (arts) subjects also succeed. It depends on how receptive you are to it. It is however, the number one arts and Science College in India. They go up to the level of Ph.D and specialize in the Films and Semiconductors. so on and so forth, if you want the department to be good to you, you must too be good in return to it. Re-iterating, it depends on how open you are to receive from others.
