Hi,
There are three parts involved in preparing for any competitive exam.
1. Learning the concepts.
2. Solving questions and papers
3. Evaluation and improving. You can use Youtube or refer some books to clarify concepts and learn about the test format and structure. For solving problems you can buy some books by Tata McGraw Hill, Arihant for CAT and Kaplan, GMAT Review for GMAT. For evaluation and improving, you can solve papers and evaluate them yourself. Find out your weaknesses and work on improving them.

It may be difficult to get job in Switzerland directly. Lot of Swiss BFSI companies have captive development centre or outsourcing IT partners in India. You may work with such companies and then seek an on-site assignment to work in Switzerland.

Civil engineering and architecture are different fields which cannot be compared as such.
Architecture is more of creativity and civil is the application part of that creativity, so I think which one is better depends on your interest and caliber and should be chosen accordingly.
I would prefer civil engineering over architecture in the current scenario in terms of scope in government sector.
