Yes, you can do a certification as well as a diploma course after completing your PG. There is huge difference between Degree/Diploma/Certificate and Certifications. Degree can be obtained after 3/4 years in a UGC recognized university and Diploma 6 months to 1-2 year under the same. While Certificate can be given by any one for participating any training program.
Certification can be provided by the technology providing companies after successfully clearing the examination conducted by the technology owned companies. Industry runs on technology, so they required technology certified professional not just certificate holder
