1. M.Com: This course is an extension to B.Com and helps you gain a deeper insight into the general functions of working of a business. Generally, those who want to do research work undertake this course. An obvious progression would be to do an M.Phil followed by a Ph.D depending on the level of expertise desired. Jobs available are teachers in schools and college. On the corporate side, you have an opportunity in the finance department of corporate to work as an analyst, research work, consulting, etc.
2. CA: CA can be done along with UG itself and need not necessarily be after PG. This course helps you develop a level of expertise in Accounts, Tax, Audit & Assurance and Consulting. At the intermediate level, one is required to do article ship wherein one can get the insight into these departments thus align your job to your desire. It has a great prospect.
3. CS: These are the people who ensure regulatory compliance of rules and regulations. Again like CA can be pursued along with grads and is relatively easier than CA.
4. ICWA: Cost accountants who control and manage the cost of an organisation.
5. MBA: It is a post graduation course that helps an individual to build himself an array of things such that his overall personality is enhanced and he can better manage various functions of an organisation and probably with time build an understanding to manage the entire organisation. In a B-School one get n number of opportunities to explore his talents in the various field. A budding entrepreneur gets people with alike minds and thus get pursue his passion with similar people around him.
6. Law: With a little understanding of the business law in B.Com and individual can get a brief exposure to the subject and probably decide if he wants to pursue this or not.
Apart from these generic courses, there are a number of other courses that an individual can pursue.
1. Actuarial Science: It for those people who like risk management and like analytic. Understanding of economics and statistics would be necessary to pursue the course. There are a limited number of fully qualified people and thus its a very high paying job. 14 papers. These are people working with the likes of the insurance company to decide upon premiums maturity, etc.
2. CFA: This again is a professional course on the higher side as per the cost is concerned.

Lovely Professional University is one of the prestigious institute of India for higher studies and placements. I have seen lot of posts by other persons that LPU is placing their students in software companies etc. Well I want to clarify this statement that:
A) A company has various units like production, services, manufacturing, software etc. So when a company is visiting in the campus, they are demanding students from different branches. So, as per their requirement, the students are getting eligible for placement drives. So, there are multiple companies which are famous for their software or IT products but they are also running other units and branches also. Example is Wipro, Bosch, Tata.
B) B.Tech Automobile students are in high demand by various core mechanical companies as well.

You need to prepare for exams like SAT and TOEFL as you will need the following to apply for a university. As an international applicant to JMU, you must include the following:
Transcripts or statement of marks of all secondary and post-secondary education, translated into English. Transcripts must be complete. For applicants still enrolled, the transcript or statement of marks must also include grades for the most recent term. The transcript must be an original copy certified by the sending institution.
One letter of recommendation.
Proof of English language proficiency for non-native speakers.
Financial certification form. This form must be completed by the student's sponsor or financial guarantor and submitted with the requested documents.
(Optional) Standardised test scores: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing Assessment (ACA). A copyof your passport from your home country. If applicable, a copy of your current US visa documents.
