Some important points which should be noted down before appearing for the exam are:
Notes should be prepared while studying different topics so that it is easy to refer to these notes. First and foremost the difficult part of a particular subject should be solved then you can proceed to the easier ones. This would help you to cover all the portions. By solving previous years question papers you will be exposed well to the syllabus of the exam. You will also be able to understand the model of the questions generally asked. If one develops a systematic approach then it will surely lead him to the path of success.
You should sincerely work hard and make maximum use of time. Another method would be revision. It will help you to become more acquainted with the portions. At the same time too much of studying may lead to fatigue. So taking some intervals will also be good. It would help to freshen up your mind.

Chandigarh University Eligibility for UG and PG Courses 2022.
Chandigarh University offers admission to numerous undergraduate, graduate, diploma and doctoral courses and has a common method of admitting its aspirants, i.e. via the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test. It is mandatory for students who wish to take admission into the university's undergraduate and postgraduate courses, to take the CUCET exam and achieve qualifying marks. Common eligibility for all UG and PG courses, however, is mentioned below:
Eligibility criteria for UG programmes: For Chandigarh University UG admission, candidates must have passed their Class 12 with an aggregate ranging between 50% and 60% depending on the course they wish to seek admission to.
Eligibility criteria for PG programmes: For Chandigarh University PG admission, candidates must have passed their graduation in any/relevant stream with an aggregate ranging between 50% and 60% depending on the course they wish to seek admission to.

At the UG level, Chandigarh University offers a wide range of courses including BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BCA, BCom, BTech and BBA among others. Admission to all the UG courses is mostly subject to a valid score in CUCET conducted by the University. I wud never suggest doing so.Doing H.M aft engg. wud mean u waste ur 4 yrs in engg if ur later on employed as HM or vice versa.
But,If you are really interested to take up the course
U can go for M.B.A in hospitality or hotel management.

Well as per your query I would say that there are a few criterion that needs to be in mind while selecting optional for IAS.
*First and the foremost, you must be comfortable in grasping the concepts of the subject.
*Availability of study material is also an important factor in determining the optional subject.
*Candidate should not choose a subject just because it's said to be scoring or his friends are choosing it.
