For Mass Media and Fashion design courses you need to fulfill their respective eligibility criteria and clear the entrance exam alongside.
You may opt for any stream in plus two (Science, Commerce, Arts) which matches your interest and personal attributes as it will make your scoring even more easier.

The eligibility criteria for Ph.D varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a Masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two Research Publications for the Ph.D programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years.
She should exhibit deep understanding and maturity in that area. This is evaluated through an extensive interview by a panel of experts. A description of one or two proposed areas of specialization is to be attached along with the application form. The description should include references to work published in leading journals or conference proceedings including at least one reference to seminal work in that field.
