Hi,
It is a dilemma whether you can get a seat or not with this rank. You may get a seat only through management quota. So you better attend counselling and try it.
You cannot get the top branches like CSE, mechanical, etc. so you may get civil, chemical, etc. by paying a huge fee.

Hello Harshdeep,It is quite late that I came across your query. But, all the same it may help others and hence I am trying to provide answer. Out of the branches, opportunities for place are least in Aerospace Engineering. Then comes chemical engineering. Mechanical engineering and Electrical engineering are having enough opportunities for employment. Hence, I feel that you should select either of these.

Hi Santhosh!
The best university for B.Tech CSE is IIT Bombay. But, if you have not appeared for JEE exams then the best among private universities is BITS, Pilani or VIT.
Other than these, SRM is good for CSE. For all these universities, you have to write separate entrance exams and get qualified with a decent score.
Or, else try for some good universities with your board exam scores.
All the best!

No you have good rank and have good chances of getting a government college better than this. Amity is very expensive and it's recognition is lesser than many government colleges.
