If you had done both Science and mathematics, so there are lots of options available for you which you can choose for your further career like you can go for engineering in different streams like B.Tech in CSE (Computer Science engineering), Information technology (IT), Mechanical engineering (ME), Civil engineering, Chemical engineering, Biomedical engineering, Biotechnology, Food technology, Electrical engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Electronics and Computer engineering, Chemical engineering, Automobile engineering, CHE- Petroleum, Aerospace engineering, ME- Mechatronics. Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve data. IT professionals perform a variety of tasks that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases.
The major difference between both these field is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes, while, Computer Science deals with the Science that facilitates these applications. To make it short and simple, Computer Science is the creation of software and hardware by using different programming skills. On the other hand, IT is just the selection of the proper software or hardware for the task.

Akshay, writing is skill that can be developed when you have inclination to learn and imagination that can run wild. For developing this skill you need the right type of course that is going to provide ample opportunities.
Two courses that you can give a though to are B.Sc Film and TV Production and BJMC. Both the courses are meant for people who have a potential to write creatively and have an eye for details.

Ravi, its not so. It depends upon the company and its requirement. In case you end up doing MBA and go for placement drive, it makes no difference if there is another candidate who is B.Tech MBA if the basic eligibility required for the job is MBA or Masters. . What is important for recruiter is your knowledge, how you conduct yourself, how you perform in the interview.
Outside the college, even the name of your college makes a difference. If you have done a course/ degree from an institute having good reputation like it provides quality education, has good faculty, good placements, wonderful infrastructure then surely that is going to be an added advantage.
There are many good universities offering a wide range of courses to choose from. Most of them have good placement records and some even offer good scholarships to meritorious students.
