Hi, Richa
Both the courses are equally good, you need to get in touch with the institutes and look at the course module that they are providing because being a distance course , you will have to rely heavily on self study, so the course material should be self explanatory.
Apart from the course material , you can also get in touch with the students of both the institutes through social media to know more about the institutes.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
Wish You Luck!

For Robotic engineer,Mechanical is good branch.Even electrical and CS are good. But most of IITs have clubs for robotic. So on just your interest, you could join them. And then it does not matter from which branch you are. So,you just need to have a rank well suited to get any branch upto mechanical in IITs.Even if you do not get that much rank,do not let your interest die and you will do well.IIT Bombay mechanical is best followed by IIT Delhi mechanical. In 12 board you need to be in top 20 percentile of your respective board which is the eligibility criteria for jee advanced.
