Yes, scholarship is their for students. In this if a student is having merit then it is provided to him for the first year. and for second year student need to maintain his marks for the same.
The expected cut off for CAT exam is above 85 percentile.

My personal experience says that you should learn Java first. Java is a great language and is most in demand. Also if you end up learning java, python will be a cake walk. Java is 15 times faster than python and hence more scope of applications.

Hi, you have to score 65% or above in MAT. The scores are only one part of the admission criteria. The admission process through MAT and XAT include GD and PI too. Your performance in exam, GD and PI will decide your admission. So, after the exam apply for the TSM, crack GD and PI.

Score/Percentage is the most important factor for taking admission in any of the course. To get into any course their is eligibility criteria which we need to fulfill to get the course. Score eligibility filter out students who can apply for the same.
If your aim is to get a job then by all means you have to get good marks. If you want to be an creative person or a scientist or a researcher, then you don't have to worry about getting good marks but just learning about the subject is enough.
