There are graduate level, Postgraduate level, diploma and certification courses available to pursue in the industry.
The eligibility for admission to Travel and Tourism courses at the undergraduate level is,10+2 pass with 45 % from any recognized board. At post-graduate level, eligibility is graduation in any field along with a pass in the entrance test followed by group dicussions and interview conducted by the institute.At times, Proficiency in at least one foreign language is preferred.
Good communication and presentation skills is essential in the industry where service to the customer is of utmost importance. An outgoing, friendly personality; ability to handle people, verbal fluency, aptitude for languages will be advantageous to be successful in the field.

In Fashion Design you will have a number of career opportunities like Fashion Coordinator, Sampling Coordinator, Design Co-odinator, Fashion Designer, Free-lance Designer, Fashion Consultant, Fashion Journalist, Choreographer (Fashion), Cutting Assistant, Sketcher, Stylist, Faculty in a Fashion Institute, Entrepreneurship, Boutique Business etc. Also you will have career options in Apparel Merchandising as Executive Trainees, Merchandiser (Domestic/Overseas), Production Coordinator, Quality Control Supervisor, Fashion Retailer, Export Manager, Showroom Manager, Manager in Buying Agencies, Overseas Positions with multinationals, Manager (Costing and production) etc.If you wish to do a specialization in Jewellery designing, you should definitely do one. A combination of Fashion design with Jewellery Design is very good. You could however at a later date have your own designer boutique which could have both apparels and jewellery to compliment each other. There is a big difference between interior decorators and interior designers. To sum up the difference in one word, the difference is —Education.
Quite literally, anyone can become an interior decorator. Someone who loves playing with colors, fabrics and textiles can easily become a decorator by simply printing off a business card and promoting themselves to clients. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but educational background is also important.
On the other side, an interior designer must have an accredited education. A Bachelors degree is a requisite for working in the interior design field.
Starting a company also involves a lot of decision making & Investment, depending or whether you would like to design yourself or would you like to hire the resources.
In case you are the core designer then it would be preferable to have an education as you would not like to take a risk with the investment that you have made in your company or with the amount that clients give to you. In the later case although it may not be compulsory but to differentiate the bad from good and good from the better an education would definitely help.
