I would appreciate the fact that you are pretty clear about your career path. while deciding on which field you should choose keep in mind your own interests and career aspirations, if you feel that you have passion to serve the nation as well as the mindset to be on ships all the time then you can go for Merchant navy as merchant navy would not only will give you big bucks but also an edge when you go for your MBA. After Doing B.Com the whole commerce field is open for you. You can opt for the courses like CA, CWA, CFA, and CS. If you want to opt for a degree program you can opt for courses like MFA, MFM, etc. another good degree option would be MBA in Finance.
All these programs I have mentioned above would lead to a good career in finance, accounting and banking field.
