If you are looking at making your career in HR, apart from the IIM's you should also look at Xavier's and TISS . You need to score at least 98 percentile in your CAT exam, to have a good chance, to make it , to any of the IIM's. Xavier's has got its own entrance exam called, XAT. Likewise, TISS (TATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES) has got its own entrance exam . You can visit www.tiss.edu for further details.

Diploma in Engineering from a Polytechnic College is a 3 year professional qualification and can be pursued after 10th in most of the states in India. Diploma courses offered by local computer centres are of shorter duration (say Diploma in Java etc). Degree(B Com, BA etc from Arts and Science/Applied Science Colleges and Universities) is also a 3 year course, but not a professional qualification, but 4 year engineering degree from an Engineering College/University is a professional qualification. Degree level qualification of any sort can be pursued only after 12th.

Hi,
Firstly it is quite difficult to give any advise without knowing your education qualification but if you are keen to pursue a career in accounting and finance, CA is the best option not just in terms of a job but also in terms of a complete separate individual profession. If you are keen to in a complete Finance field then you can opt for courses depending on your interest like MBA in Finance, MA in Eco would be quite a different field and will provide options in the advisory department .
LLB is a separate career and deals in legalities and law, but opting for company law/ business law would also help you the same way in getting oppo
