Hi Rekha,
As rightly said by Aru to get admission in a PhD programme you need to have a Masters degree and yours is a Diploma programme. You can get MBA degree through IGNOU itself by taking extension of your programme, after which you would be able to apply for a PhD programme.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries. In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a “best answer” or pressing the “thumbs up” icon.

B.Tech. and AME are not at par. B.Tech. is AICTE approved course to become an engineering officer in any organization while AME is DGCA approved course to become aircraft maintenance technician who in a later stage can climb up to be an officer. AME is considered diploma and not graduation while B.Tech is a degree. If you are interested to work on aircraft, then pursue B.Tech in any stream except civil engineering. After passing out, you can join Air Force, Airport Authority of India or HAL as aeronautical engineer.
